2002 to 2004 Bordeaux Perspective
There is little doubt that future wine-lovers will look back on the first years of the 21st century and see two towering vintages in the form of 2000 and 2005, much like we today see the 1980’s dominated by 1982 and 1986. Such auspicious vintages tend to suck attention away from adjacent growing seasons, deprive them of their fair share of limelight, a propos 1962, 1988 and perhaps the years sandwiched between 2000 and 2005?

With a goal to be energy independent, thus creating predictable energy and costs, Cline hired SolarCraft Services, Inc. of Novato, California to design and build the large commercial solar electric system. The system now provides 100 percent of the winery's annual electricity consumption for its production facility.

It really is very hot indeed down here in the Languedoc and in all of southern France, including Bordeaux, as far as I can see – and has been so since mid June at least. France however has made up for the drought of the 2005 growing season with much higher rainfall in 2006 than, say, the UK and some spraying has been necessary.
